PROFILE
Louis-René Gagnon held policy development and operational positions of responsibility at the Quebec Ministry of Immigration for twenty years. Among other things, he was Secretary of the Council on Intercultural Relations from 2003 to 2006 and Director of the Quebec Immigration Office for the Middle East from 2007 to 2009 in Damascus. He has carried out numerous selection missions abroad. His field of expertise is economic immigration, particularly business immigration.
Since September 2011, he has been a lecturer for the Immigration Counselling Services program at CEGEP St-Laurent where he teaches the Immigration Laws and Jurisprudence course and the Economic Immigration course. He is also a technical advisor for the Quebec chapter of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants. Additionally, he is a member of the Disciplinary Tribunal of the ICCRC as a public representative. Louis-René Gagnon holds a Law Degree from the Université de Montréal and a Master's Degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
