After practicing law in France for over 25 years, Me Samet resumed his legal practice in Quebec in 2010. In 2023, Me Samet joined the Derhy Law team, where he brings his legal expertise and extensive professional background, contributing valuable insights and experience.
Me Samet practices mainly in civil liability and leads numerous class actions. He also practices in environmental law, construction law, air transport law, family law and youth law, and has substantial international experience.
Me Samet has previously worked as an investigative journalist in Quebec, mainly covering legal, economic and financial affairs for Les Affaires, Le Journal de Montréal, Le Journal de Québec, La Vie Agricole, Le Monde Forestier, Radio Canada, Canal Argent and TVA. He is the author of the first investigative book on the Norbourg affair.
